How to replace the battery of the Volkswagen Atlas key

The procedure you need to follow to replace the battery inside the key of your Volkswagen Atlas is the same as for many other car models produced by Volkswagen. Before starting with the various steps, make sure you have a new CR2032 3V battery on hand, then remove the back cover of the key with the help of a flathead screwdriver if you have trouble doing it with your hands. Remove the old battery and replace it with the new one, and finally, reassemble the protective back cover of the key.
