How to disassemble the rear headlight of the Volkswagen Golf

The steps to remove the rear light of the Volkswagen Golf model MK 7 are simple and quick to perform independently and do not require the use of any tools. To remove the light, we need to open the trunk and remove the side carpet located at the light. After removing the carpet, unscrew the butterfly nut that locks the light by turning it counterclockwise. Remove the light and disconnect the connector, then remove the light from its housing. After removing the light, perform any desired maintenance and inspection work; installation follows the reverse process.
