Want to manually unlock the automatic gearbox on a Volkswagen Touareg? Here's how to do it: first, position the gear knob vertically, then detach the plastic cover from the centre console using a lever. To unlock: push the plastic lever located inside the centre console as shown in the video, move the gear knob through the various gear positions. Finally, refit the previously removed plastic cover: clip the locking clips around the frame with a light pressure.
