In order to reset the automatic transmission of the Volkswagen Touareg, you need to insert the ignition key into the corresponding slot, so that the instrument panel is turned on without starting the engine: once the panel is turned on, you can press the accelerator pedal for about twenty seconds. After this time interval, you can move the automatic transmission selector again: then, by starting the engine and driving, you will notice that the settings have returned to their original state.
