Before fixing the gasket along the perimeter of the frame, it is necessary to appropriately shape the four bands that will be applied on the 4 sides. It is therefore suggested to prepare one band at a time by positioning the gasket along the side to be coated, mark with a felt-tip pen the points where to drill the holes (the smallest ones for the application of the fastening rivets and the largest ones for the passage body fixing studs) and determine the right length by cutting the coupling edge with the other band at 45Â °. Now make the smaller holes with a punch pliers and the larger ones with a punch punch. Carefully clean the edge of the bodywork and the back of the gasket, apply the mastic and then fix the gasket by aligning the holes correctly; then apply the rivets for fixing.
