Resetting the Service Indicator for Upcoming Maintenance

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012
Part: Service warning light

It is recommended to reset the SERVICE indicator only after performing the scheduled service.
Turn on the ignition (without starting the engine).
Using the controls on the right side of the steering wheel, scroll through the menu (using the left button) until you reach the SETTINGS menu;
At this point, use the arrows (up or down) to select SERVICE and press OK to enter;
Still using the arrows, select the RESET command and press OK: a confirmation request will appear, select OK to reset the service.
