How do you reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Polo?

The service warning light indicated on the dashboard of the Volkswagen Polo can be completely cleared by turning on the ignition. Insert the ignition key into the corresponding slot: once the dashboard is on, you can access the menu using the button on the right side of the steering wheel and select the "Reset inspection" option. This will bring up a confirmation message to which you need to respond with "Yes" to ensure that the warning light disappears completely from the dashboard. Finally, turn off the ignition to complete the process.
