How do you reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Polo?

The service warning light indicated on the dashboard of the Volkswagen Polo can be completely cleared by turning on the ignition. This will bring up a confirmation message to which you need to respond with "Yes" to ensure that the warning light disappears completely from the dashboard. Finally, turn off the ignition to complete the process.
