In this video, we can see the wiring diagrams for the Volkswagen Transporter T5. The main sources to refer to are ErWin Volkswagen, which is an online platform for technical documentation (paid); ElsaWin is the official Volkswagen software but is only accessible to the Volkswagen network; Haynes/Chilton manuals contain simplified diagrams. The ECU is located under the windscreen on the driver’s side, in a black box with multiple connectors. Fuse box 1 is on the driver’s side under the steering wheel, behind a removable panel; fuse box 2 is in the engine compartment (passenger side, near the battery). The ABS module is near the brake fluid reservoir (driver’s side). This version does not have direct TPMS sensors, but uses wheel detection via ABS.
