How to Change the Remote Battery on a Volkswagen Polo

In today’s video, we will see how to replace the battery (CR2032) in the remote of a Volkswagen Polo 6, model produced from 2017 onwards. Let’s start the replacement procedure by pressing the release button of the key to lift it from its housing. Next, pry open the bottom part of the remote cover to remove it as shown in the video. Once done, you will have the old battery in front of you to replace, so using a small flathead screwdriver, extract the old battery and then insert a new one. Finally, close it all up.
