How to Replace the Remote Battery in a Volkswagen Polo?

To replace the battery in the remote for a Volkswagen Polo, press the button at the top of the device to lift the emergency key. This will allow you to leverage inside its housing to detach the back of the remote. Once this is removed, you can access the underlying battery, taking it out of its housing. After the old battery is removed, insert a new one, cover it with the casing, and lower the key.
