How to Remove the Front Headlamp of the VW Touareg

Model: Volkswagen Touareg MK 1, 7L - Years 2002-2010

To remove the front headlamp of the VW Touareg, follow these instructions. Open the bonnet and using a 6mm socket spanner, unscrew the fixing nut located on the headlamp (which is very visible). After this, press gently on the metal spring (shaped like a tab) while simultaneously pulling the headlamp outwards as if it were a drawer. Once the work on the headlamp is done, you can refit it by bringing it back into its housing (but do not press); use the socket spanner to tighten the 6mm nut (you will notice that the headlamp will automatically retract). Ensure the metal spring is locked in place, and you are finished.
