Volkswagen Multivan T6 DIY: How to Install the Bed and Kitchen Module in the Boot

To install the camper module in the Volkswagen Multivan T6, start by clearing the loading area and positioning the rear seats in the most forward position. With the tailgate open, lift the module frame with both hands and place it on the floor guides, aligning it with the bumper stop. Secure the frame to the anchorage points in the boot using ratchet straps, attaching the hooks to the eyes on the floor and tightening the straps until the structure is stable. Once the frame is secured, insert the removable units into the rails: the kitchen module with the stove and sink, and the side drawers. Slide each element along its guides until it reaches the end stop and check that the locking handles close properly. On top, place the support panels for the bed and arrange the folding mattresses to cover the entire length from the tailgate to the front seats. Inside the cabin, fold down the backs of the rear seats to complete the support surface. At the end of the installation, check that the bed is stable, that the drawers slide smoothly, and that the tailgate closes without interference. The Volkswagen Multivan T6 is now ready for use as a small camper, with the kitchen and bed module installed in the boot.
