You can completely clear the Service light displayed on the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Sharan by holding down the button located on the right side of the cluster while it is off. Continue to hold the button while inserting the ignition key into the corresponding lock.

Then turn the key to switch on the cluster: you will notice that while holding the button, the light will turn off completely, after which you can switch off the cluster by removing the key.

How to open the bonnet on a Volkswagen Golf?
