How to Reset the Service Light on the Volkswagen New Beetle?

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012
Part: Service warning light

You can clear the Service light displayed on the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen New Beetle by pressing and holding the button located in the centre of the instrument cluster while it is off. Continue holding the button, insert the key into the ignition, and turn it to switch on the cluster. At this point, keep holding the central button until the reset of the light is complete. Once the reset is finished, you can turn off the instrument cluster by turning the key back and removing it from the ignition.
