There is also a plastic tab that overlaps; pull in the correct direction to release it. The emblem is a separate piece that attaches to the grille with clips on the back. To remove it, use your fingers or a flat screwdriver to gently press the tabs from the other side of the grille. Now you need to align the new grille; this is a delicate step.
