In this section, we will describe the layout of the fuse boxes within the Volkswagen Transporter T6.1, while the video will illustrate the function of the various fuses contained within them. A series of high-voltage fuses is located directly on the battery, which is found on the right side of the engine (when looking at the vehicle from the front). A second fuse box is also located in the engine bay, but next to the airbox, in a rectangular box near the front grille. We find a third fuse box inside the passenger compartment, between the steering wheel and the left door, under the indicator stalk (for left-hand drive). For right-hand drive, the layout is mirrored and is located between the steering wheel and the right door, under the dashboard on the right side. There is a high-power fuse holder and a box containing relays under the passenger seat (left-hand drive), and a fuse holder is located under the starter battery.
