How to Reset the Service Light on the Volkswagen Sharan?

To completely clear the Service light displayed on the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Sharan, hold down the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster while it is off: continue to hold this button while inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch. Then turn it to activate the cluster: in this way, you will notice that by continuing to hold the button, the light will be completely cleared, and you can then turn off the cluster by removing the key from the ignition.
