Removing the Wing Mirror of a Volkswagen Jetta

Remove the wing mirror from a Volkswagen Jetta. Use a plastic-coated lever (rubber) to pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the glass. Pry until the plastics detach from the mirror (disconnect the power cable), a delicate operation as the glass or mirror could break. Unscrew the screws to remove the mirror cover and replace the damaged part with a new one (if necessary). Clip the plastic clips into the mirror supports.
