This guide provides instructions to reset the inspection (service) warning on a Volkswagen Golf. First, get in the vehicle and press and hold the reset button located at the bottom of the instrument cluster; then turn on the ignition and wait for the maintenance key reset prompt to appear on the display, as shown in the video. At this point, release the button and press it again once to confirm and reset the service and maintenance key warning from the display.
