How to Disable the ESP in a Volkswagen Tiguan

Model: Volkswagen Tiguan 5N, MK 1 - Years 2007-2016

The video shows you how to disable the ESP (Electronic Stability Program) on a Volkswagen Tiguan. This function can only be partially disabled, as the system is never completely excluded for safety reasons. With the vehicle running, locate the button with the icon of a sliding car, situated on the centre console or near the gear lever. Pressing the button once primarily disables the traction control (ASR), allowing for more wheel slip, useful on snow or mud. A dedicated light will illuminate on the instrument panel. Turning the engine off and back on will automatically reactivate the ESP.
