Service refers to all routine maintenance operations that must be performed periodically on every vehicle, including the 2005 Volkswagen Touran, primarily oil and oil filter changes. The dedicated spanner-shaped light will remind you to reset it once the work is completed, following these instructions: while holding down the button under the odometer, turn on the ignition, waiting for the service warning to appear on the onboard computer, then rotate the button under the engine rev counter, and when the Service Interval option appears, switch off and then restart the ignition.
