How to Replace the Front Headlight Bulb on a Volkswagen Polo

To replace the front headlight bulb on a Volkswagen Polo, open the bonnet and locate the rear of the headlamp unit. Remove the protective cover made of plastic or rubber located at the back of the headlight.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb and unclip the metal clip or locking mechanism. Pull out the faulty bulb without touching the glass with your fingers.

Insert the new bulb into the same housing, ensuring the correct orientation, and secure it with the clip. Reconnect the electrical connector and reattach the protective cover.

Turn on the headlights to verify proper operation.
