How to Reset the Inspection and Oil Change Light on a Volkswagen T-Roc and T-Cross

This procedure applies to the Volkswagen T-Roc, T-Cross, Polo, and other models with a digital instrument cluster. Turn on the instrument cluster by pressing the start button once without pressing the brake.

Navigate to "driving data" in the menu. Use the right/left arrow buttons on the steering wheel to scroll through the various menus.

Press and hold the "ok" button on the steering wheel for about 5 seconds. Release when the service menu appears, with three options: "reset oil change deadline"; "reset inspection"; "reset deadline". In this case, select "reset oil change deadline" using the arrow buttons, press "ok", and confirm when the confirmation request appears. "Indicator reset" will appear.

If you want to reset the inspection as well, go back and repeat the procedure. Exit the menu by pressing the "back" button.
