Changing the oil and filter on a Beetle? Let's see in this video guide how to proceed. We lift the car on a jack and unscrew the oil pan pin; let the liquid flow into a container. We pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front hood, we secure the same. With a strap wrench we unscrew the large oil filter. We remove the engine soundproofing panel to access the filter; take out the worn oil filter and place a new one. Finally we top up the new liquid and close the front hood.
