Part: Oil filter

Video tutorial

In this video, see where the oil filter is located on the 2017 Volkswagen Crafter: it is positioned behind the air filter, so to access it, you need to open the air filter box. The oil filter is located directly behind it. To remove it, you will need a 32 mm socket wrench.

This information is valuable because on many vehicles, the filter is hidden and not immediately visible.

On some versions, however, it is located near the oil sump and can be accessed from underneath the vehicle. It may also be covered by a plastic shield.

The oil filter should be replaced every 10,000 miles or with every engine oil change.
