How to Remove the Handle on a VW Polo

In this video, we will show you a complete handle already disassembled. The black part is hidden inside the door, made visible here to understand how to remove it. By opening the door, you will have access to the entire mechanism from a side hole next to the handle itself. From here, you will need to release the gear as shown. This will allow you to remove the fixed part of the handle on the door. A hook tool of the right size will be necessary to leverage from the inside. Once done, you can remove this part of the handle to access the more easily removable moving part.
