Replacing Number Plate Lights on Golf 4

Are the number plate bulbs on your Volkswagen Golf 4 blown? Here’s how to change them. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws securing the light unit. Remove the number plate light unit located in the rear bumper of the car. Once the light unit is removed, extract the damaged bulb from it. Fit the new LED bulb (same size and voltage) into the light unit. Refit the light unit into the bumper and screw in the securing screws. Test the operation of the previously fitted bulbs. Replace the bulbs in the other number plate light unit.
