In this video, you will learn how to remove the gear knob gaiter on this vehicle, a necessary operation to replace both the gaiter and the knob. You will need a flat plastic lever, preferably one designed for this purpose, but you can also manage with a flat-head screwdriver.

The first step is to detach the lower plate by prying it up bit by bit around its perimeter until it is completely released. After that, pull up the gaiter and at the base of the knob, you will find a small hex screw that secures everything to the gear lever.
