Removing the Door Panel on Golf 4

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003
Part: Door trim panel

Remove the damaged door panel from the Golf 4. Disconnect the window switch panel, then unscrew the screws located in the handle area. Unscrew the screws on the sides of the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Pull off the panel and disconnect it from the door (unplug the power wiring and the opening cable). Perform the desired maintenance inside the door. Refit the new panel with all the parts you removed earlier, such as the switch panel, the connector clips, and the opening cable.
