Replacing the Remote Key Battery for VW T-Roc

Replacing the battery in the remote key for the Volkswagen T-Roc is very simple and does not require disassembling the key itself; first, obtain a 2025 battery and a tool to pry between the two halves of the key to release the rear cover, under which the battery is located; press the metal key to access the slot, insert a screwdriver, a coin, or another key to pry and detach the rear cover, remove the old battery paying attention to the orientation and polarity, and insert the new one in the same position before reattaching the cover.
