In this video tutorial we will see how to remove and replace the diesel filter of a Volkswagen Polo 1.6 TDI; the procedure is also similar for other types of cars. First we open the bonnet of the car and locate the diesel filter on the left: then remove the iron clamp with pliers and remove the diesel filter tube. Do the same with the other tube. At this point we are going to pull the filter upwards, opening the plastic tabs: then we are going to insert the new one and finally reconnect the pipes with the clamps!
