Replacing the Fuel Filter on a VW Polo

Replacing the fuel filter on a Volkswagen Polo? Here’s how to remove it from under the car. Lift the car on a column lift, locate the fuel filter under the vehicle floor. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the securing bolt near the container (disconnect the wires and various hoses from the filter) where the fuel filter is located. Once removed, take the filter out from under the floor. Install the new filter in the filter holder (connect the hoses and wires) and tighten the appropriate screws. Lower the car and start the vehicle to test its operation.
