Engine Cleaning Treatment

Using a petroleum-based product helps keep an engine clean. Some effective commercial products help liquefy rubber and dirt deposits when added to fuels or oils. For engine treatment and to clean air induction systems and throttle bodies without disassembling them for immersion in solvent, use spray or a small tube. Start the engine and spray the liquid directly into the carburettor; alternatively, fill a small container with the additive and use a tube to draw the solvent by placing it directly in front of the air intake of the carburettor or injection pump. The additive cleans the carburettor, fuel passages, and fuel injectors for up to two years.
