To replace the water pump in your Golf Mk7, follow these steps. First, open the bonnet and locate the pump on the right side of the engine assembly. Once located, remove all components that obstruct easy access to the pump. After removing them, you can finally take out the pump, which is held by 4 screws. Once the old pump is removed, proceed to install the new one. After installing the new pump, reassemble all the parts you removed earlier. Once everything is done, use the appropriate tool to adjust the pump pressure to ensure its perfect operation.
