In this guide, we will discover the instructions that will allow us to dismantle and replace the water pump and timing belt of the Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TDI. First, we raise the vehicle and start by removing the front right wheel and the wheel arch, then disconnect the V-belt and remove the crankshaft pulley; after that, we proceed to remove the fuel filter and the coolant reservoir, followed by dismantling the engine mount and the timing cover. We remove the timing belt and the water pump, having first disconnected the coolant hose; we replace the components with new original ones.
