In today's video tutorial we will see how to remove the gearshift gaiter together with the knob of a Volkswagen Golf seventh series. First we get inside the car and we go to disassemble the gearshift gaiter: to do this we will go to lever on the sides in order to release it, as shown in the video. At this point we are also going to remove the knob by cutting the metal clamp that holds our knob in place: then with a lot of force we go to remove it upwards. For reassembly, you can first insert the gear knob and then the boot or both at the same time.
