Installation of LED Courtesy Lights

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

The first operation is to remove the door panel: unscrew the screws along the edges, remove the cover of the internal handle grip, and then the screws underneath; unclip the pressure clips along the edges and remove the panel by disconnecting the cable of the opening lever and the speaker. Disconnect the grey connector with the purple safety and extract the terminal block; insert the two spade connectors of the power supply for the lamp holder to be fitted under the panel in place of the reflector, into the first two free positions of the terminal block. Refit the panel and attach the lamp holder. Repeat the operation on the rear panel, taking the power from the two central pins of the power supply connector for the window lifter motor. If the pressure clips remain inserted in the door, remove them and attach them to the panel before refitting it. The activation of the courtesy lights must then be configured with the diagnostic tool via the comfort module.
