Instructions for Removing the Car Radio

Model: Volkswagen Transporter T5, MK 5 - Years 2003-2014

The first task is to remove the glove compartment located in the centre of the dashboard, just above the car radio (it is simply clipped in, use a lever to detach it); then unscrew the fixing screws of the plastic trim around the car radio and the climate control buttons, followed by the screws securing the car radio itself at the four corners; then pull the car radio forward and disconnect the relevant connectors. It is advisable to check for any activation code before disconnecting the connectors.
