Removing the Rear Single Seats on Volkswagen Transporter 5

Model: Volkswagen Transporter T5, MK 5 - Years 2003-2014

Using the lever underneath the seat, pull the seat forward as far as possible until it reaches the end of its travel. Rotate the backrest forward using the knob, then remove the headrest by simply pulling it out by hand. Pull the external lever, as shown in the video, to release the seat from its mount, then also pull the lever at the rear of the seat to detach it from the rear attachments. Now, climb into the van and grasp the seat from behind, pulling it out from the front attachments as well. Job done! The procedure is the same for both single seats. Reverse the steps for reinstallation.
