Removing the Rear Door Panel

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008
Part: Door trim panel

Start by unscrewing the two fixing screws of the panel located along the lower edge; then remove the internal handle cover (lever it off with a screwdriver) and unscrew the screws underneath. At this point, unclip the pressure clips along the edges of the panel and pull it upwards to detach it from the window seal; to completely remove it, disconnect the cable from the opening lever and the two connectors linked to the window switch and the speaker. Proceed in reverse for reassembly.
