Removing the Door Panel of a Volkswagen Golf 4

Let's remove the door panel of a Volkswagen Golf 4 (driver's side), and see how to proceed. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Use a lever to remove the cover of the internal handle (unscrew the screws on the handle), then remove the reflector (with a lever). Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Finally, pull the panel away with your hands and detach it from the door. Refitting is done in reverse order.
