Removal of the Centre Console and Installation of CD Player

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009

First, unclip the storage shelf located at the top of the centre console and remove the screws underneath; take off the trim around the climate control buttons and unscrew the screws beneath; extract the glove compartment located under the radio, the bottle holder, and the cap on the other side to unscrew the screws at the bottom; use the appropriate extraction keys to remove the radio and then unscrew the screws at the bottom of its housing. At this point, you can remove the console by disconnecting the relevant connectors. Proceed in reverse for reassembly, inserting the CD player in place of the glove compartment.
