How to Replace the Water Pump of a Volkswagen Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat B7 - Years 2010-2014

Before starting, open the front bonnet of your Volkswagen Passat. Begin by removing the cover of the auxiliary belt and the belt itself, loosening the tensioner. Next, remove the alternator. This will give you access to the water pump underneath. Proceed by disconnecting the relevant hoses. At this point, unscrew and remove the bolts securing the water pump, and you will have completed the disassembly. To fit the new water pump, follow these steps in reverse, and you will have finished the replacement.
