Operation: How to remove the alternator of a Volkswagen Passat

Let's see how to remove and replace the alternator of a Volkswagen Passat. We pull the bar located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the bonnet putting it in safety, identify the battery of the power supply and disconnect the terminals (so as not to create problems). To remove the alternator of our car we have to remove the soundproofing panel of the engine; unscrew the pins with a socket wrench, being careful not to damage the cable winding membranes, unscrew all the fastening pins of the alternator, once the disassembly is finished, extract it from the engine compartment. We take the new replacement part and insert it into the suitable housing, screw in the locking pins, then tighten the side pins of the alternator. We check the right voltage with a tester by connecting it to the battery, check to do with the engine running to see if the value indicated by the tester increases. We reassemble the headlight with the respective pins and make sure the car works correctly.
