If you try to access the voice commands in the Volkswagen Golf 7 by pressing the VOICE button next to the touchscreen, or the corresponding button on the steering wheel, you will notice that these commands are locked. To unlock and use them, you must visit a brand dealership or any authorised workshop: this is the only procedure to unlock the voice commands.

Once unlocked, pressing the respective buttons will not display the lock screen, but a menu with options including: navigation, phone, radio, and multimedia content.
