How to Replace the Air Conditioning Compressor on a Volkswagen Passat?

To replace the air conditioning compressor on a Volkswagen Passat, lift the bonnet and locate the part, which is found in the engine compartment, near the right front headlamp. To remove it, you will need to loosen all the bolts shown in the video, using the appropriate spanner for each one. Once all the bolts are loosened, you can extract the compressor from its housing. After the part has been removed, you can replace it with a new one and secure it with the same bolts previously removed.
