When the AdBlue warning light illuminates on the display of your Volkswagen Tiguan, it indicates that the level of additive liquid in the designated tank is insufficient. To turn off the light, you will need to top up the AdBlue: the liquid must be poured into the conduit accessible from the boot. By opening the rear hatch and lifting the carpet that acts as flooring, you will find the tank cap. This must be filled completely; once the top-up is complete, lower the carpet and close the hatch, confirming that the AdBlue light is off.
