To replace the remote battery of your Volkswagen Golf 5, press the button to lift the key and lever inside the housing to separate the upper part from the lower part. The battery is located in the lower part: by removing the front cover, you will have access to the battery and can extract it from its housing. Once the old battery is removed, replace it with a new spare part, installing it in the housing. After installation, close the remote again.
