Removing the Car Radio from the Vehicle

Model: Volkswagen Caravelle T5 - Years 2003-2014

Follow these steps to remove the car radio. Work on the central dashboard of the car where the radio is located at the height of the air conditioning. Use a lever to remove the upper plastic part (without disconnecting the electrical contacts) and then the front panel. Now, focus on the radio support, unscrew the four screws holding the radio and carefully pull it out of the slot (to avoid pulling the wires). At this point, disconnect the electrical contacts; there are two main ones, unlock one from the safety catch and disconnect it, the other consists of two jacks which you can pull out with a gentle pressure. Tools:
screwdrivers, both Phillips and flat.
