How to Reset the "Service" Light on a Volkswagen Up!

Model: Volkswagen Up MK 1 - Years 2011-2024

Before you begin, ensure that all doors, including the bonnet and boot, are closed. Once you have confirmed that everything is properly closed, start by pressing the "Set" button located at the bottom right of the instrument panel. While holding it down, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. When the dashboard lights up, you can release the button. Next, with the dashboard still on, press the "Set" button again for a couple of seconds, and finally release it. Once released, you will have successfully reset the light.
